All content on this site — including the Union name and logo, page copy, layout, graphics, photos, and video — is owned by the Union or used with permission, and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

• Copy, download, republish, or redistribute our photos, video, or copy.
• Use our name, logo, or marks in any advertising, merchandise, or event promotion.
• Frame, mirror, or scrape the site, or use it to train commercial datasets or models.
• Present yourself as affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized to book on behalf of the Union.

Any third-party names, marks, artist names, or music referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Music performed at the venue is licensed through the applicable performing-rights organizations.

You are responsible for anything you send us and confirm you have the right to send it. By submitting content — a message, an application, a resume, a photo, or a review — you grant the Union a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for the purpose it was sent (responding to you, evaluating your application, or fulfilling your booking). We will not use a resume or personal message in advertising. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, threatening, or contains someone else's personal information without their permission.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to Bar@iowacitybar.com including: your contact information; identification of the copyrighted work; the URL or description of the material you want removed; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will investigate and remove or disable infringing material promptly. Counter-notices may be sent to the same address.

Submitting a reservation or rental request is a request, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when a Union representative responds and confirms it. Details posted on this site — hours, specials, events, DJs, pricing — may change without notice, and events may be modified or cancelled. Any deposit, minimum spend, cancellation terms, or house rules for a rental will be set out in the confirmation we send you.

The Union is a 21+ venue. Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required for entry, with no exceptions. We reserve the right to refuse entry or service, and to refuse service of alcohol to anyone, at our discretion and as required by Iowa law. Nothing on this site is an offer to serve alcohol to anyone under 21.

Submitting an application does not create an offer of employment or a contract. The Union is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by federal, state, or Iowa City law. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site, submit forms through automated means, send spam or false submissions, or otherwise misuse our contact channels. We may block access and limit submission rates to protect the site.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information such as hours or specials is always current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Union is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Iowa.
